Contact Flooring is a UK resin flooring contractor. We install resin floors in factories and warehouses, and we repair worn and damaged industrial floors. Our head office is in Hyde, Greater Manchester, with offices serving the North West and the Midlands, and we install nationwide across England, Wales and Scotland. We have over 20 years' experience in industrial flooring.
What we do
Most of our work is new resin flooring for factories and production areas and warehouses and distribution centres. We match the system to how each area is used:
- Epoxy and polyurethane coatings and high build coatings for storage, assembly and light production areas
- Flow-applied self-smoothing floors and multi-layer systems where a seamless or slip-resistant finish is needed
- Polyurethane screeds and heavy duty systems for oil, chemicals, impact and forklift traffic
- Line marking, walkways and safety demarcation
We also carry out warehouse floor repairs, resin floor repairs and slab joint repairs, and the surface preparation that every resin floor depends on.

Our clients include manufacturers, distributors, logistics operators, landlords and the contractors who work for them. Some examples from our case studies:
- We are an approved contractor for a major UK rail company, installing walkways, stencils and demarcation at its parts facility in Nottingham.
- We are an approved contractor for an international timber importer, where a 998m2 high build coating with walkways in Scotland was our seventh project.
- For an oil and fluids manufacturer in Wolverhampton we have installed over 3000m2 of 6mm polyurethane screed, returning to complete the final 692m2.
- For a dilapidations contractor working for landlords we put right 2021m2 of failed epoxy coating in an existing Birmingham warehouse.
How we work
Every project starts with a site survey. We look at the slab, its condition and any old coatings, how the floor is used and what it is exposed to, and when the area can be released. We then recommend a system and prepare a quote.
On site, the floor is mechanically prepared by shot blasting or diamond grinding, cracks and joints are repaired, and the resin system is installed and finished with any line marking. Larger floors and busy sites can be phased so that operations keep running.
